When I Close My Eyes

I close my eyes. The lid goes down to touch my soft skin. The eyelashes so black and sparkly. I cannot see anything at all. It reminds me of a moonless night, a world with no hope. I move my eyeballs round and side to side. I feel like there is a bee buzzing around. I can see the colours of darkness. A dark shade of blue, a dreamy purple, a yellow with no end. A red, as blood, a green as grass. I see a spot and i look down deeper into it and find nothing but eternal darkness. My breath is heard very evidently. It is a clear sound as glass makes. The colours and the breath I take in are all fighting for attention. I cannot choose between the two so select times for each. First the colours, swooping in and out of sight. They swooshed around in happiness and made me feel dreamy. They are all different and have their own uniqueness. There is no way to take your eyes off those bright and dark colours. It is so pretty! But it is still showing the darkness. I still do not understand how in s...

You And Me

You   And   Me You and me, Together we'll be. We dance all night,  To the songs we like. Music that bonds us together, Forever. We will hug and giggle, But also tug and care little. And roll on the rug with skittles. We have a strange connection, we do. You and me, Me and you. My little one, you bark so much,  You clutch my leg, Our relationship is such.

Respect

Respect is something you will not regret It is something to set To your future it will be kind, It is something you rarely find. It can be to anyone, with your friends its tons of fun. With your teachers it is a connection, Something to be won. Then there is the lovely pair, Your parents, they give you all the love and care. And the tantrums they have to bare, And the fake emotions they have to wear. Please yourself, You are your own Santa's elf. You can control your emotions, happy or sad, Otherwise, you have understanding lads. But after all, it is true. No respect, you'll have sad blues.

The Nightmare

I was sleeping happily when a horrible dream struck me. I was walking through a room. Even my aunt was there along with my cousin. It was their house. It was new. Me, my parents and my sister had come to my aunt’s house to see how it was. It was dark. As dark as a night without a moon. It did not matter to anyone how dark it was. We walked up the stairs all together. We started into a room and sat down on a sofa in front of a T.V. We watched something for five minutes. I was not interested in whatever was playing on the television so I took a look around. Right beside the tiny television was what seemed to me as a herd of sheep. It was not clear nor was it decided. This was enough to freak me out. The sound of silence made me unsure that there were people around. I realised that they were starting to get up. I walked slowly towards the door behind the others thinking about what I had seen or what I had thought I had seen. As I reached the door to go ...

The Breeze On the Sunday Morning

The calming, free breeze,  In the light of a Sunday, Is most beautiful.

The Sun is Above All

The sun is above all,  Was my thought when I bought a stall. Its rays fell on the window,  As I say to my customers,"Hello!" The Sun is above all,  The houses, the meadows, and the men tall. With little children in the playground,  Parents chatting about their tiny growing hounds. The Sun is above all,  Above my nice, tiny stall. I love it, I earned it,  Even though my stall is where the sun sits.

My Dreams

There was a dream In which I was staring at a person, Just like me, Perhaps a foot taller. She was talking to someone,  Someone named Jack,  Someone who was well-respected. Surprisingly, Jack was bowing, Bowing at her, that person. Suddenly, she started walking towards me. She, who had a smile of roses,  And eyes that needed to discover something. That sparkle was familiar, but hard to remember. She turned, breaking through my thoughts as someone called her. Her jet black hair was thrown into my eyes as she was told to walk into a room. I followed her, out of curiosity. Where was she going? I need to see her once more. As I walked through the door, I was confused. It was a stage. I looked around and then found her. She was on stage, singing. The melody rang through my ears,  As if a bird was chirping, a drop of rain falling. I swayed with the music,  But it stopped. It was over. The lady came back to the door a...
